Exceptional Nigerian Teen Femi Ositade Earns $3.5 Million in Scholarships from Prestigious Universities

Seventeen-year-old Femi Ositade, hailing from Nigeria, has recently achieved a remarkable feat by securing full scholarships from several prestigious Ivy League universities across the United States, Canada, and Qatar. This outstanding achievement amounts to scholarships totaling over $3.5 million.
Ositade’s journey to success can be attributed to his exceptional performance in various academic assessments. He achieved a perfect score of 800 out of 800 in Mathematics in the SAT, along with an impressive score of 760 out of 800 in reading and writing. Additionally, his college CGPA of 4.04 out of 4.0 further solidified his academic prowess.
The young scholar received scholarship offers from 14 renowned institutions, with nine of them offering full ride scholarships covering tuition, accommodation, allowances, and other student expenses. These institutions include Harvard University, Brown University, Duke University, University of Toronto Lester B Pearson Scholarship, Wesleyan University, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, University of Miami, Howard University, Stetson University, Fisk University, University of Toronto (Mississauga, St. George, and Scarborough campuses), and Drexel University.
Ositade’s academic excellence extended to national assessments as well. In the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), he scored an impressive 358, ranking as the second-best in Nigeria for the year 2023. Furthermore, in the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), he achieved outstanding results with eight A’s and one B2.
