Owotuga Foundation’s Generous Gesture: Donates Lecture Theatre to OAUSTECH, Hosts Thanksgiving Service, and Awards Scholarships The education landscape of Ondo state received a significant boost with the unveiling of an ultramodern 300-seater lecture theatre at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in Okitipupa, Ondo State, courtesy of the Late Matthew Omodayo Owotuga Foundation.

The decision to immortalize their father, Late Matthew Omodayo Owotuga, stems from a deep-seated commitment to honoring his legacy of love for education and philanthropy.

He emphasized the profound significance of education to their father and urged students to utilize the facility judiciously, bearing in mind the generations to come.

The Late Matthew Omodayo Owotuga Foundation, a non-profit and non-political organization established a decade ago, has consistently served humanity.

According to Nelson Ogede, representing the foundation, the completion of the lecture theatre aligns with its objectives and underscores the commitment to community development, particularly in the Ondo South Senatorial District.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, represented by his Special Adviser on Education, Olawunmi Ilawole, expressed gratitude to the Owotuga family for their generous donation.

He highlighted the transformative impact the lecture theatre would have on future leaders’ teaching and learning experiences. In addition to the ceremony at OAUSTECH, a Thanksgiving service was held at a church in Ajah on Sunday, April 28th.

The service was attended by friends of the family from different walks of life, further highlighting the significance of the Owotuga family’s contributions to both education and community development.

Furthermore, the Late Matthew Omodayo Owotuga Foundation announced a scholarship offer for deserving students in Ondo State.
